A lot of people have done it and millions of videos are posted on the site every year. With all the videos out there, it is hard to be found. 1 – The Slow Mo Guys – They started their YouTube channel back in 2010 and it is basically them recording different things in slow motion! Seems pretty simple, right? Why don’t I ever come up with these ideas? The channel was created by Galvin Free and Daniel Gruchy and it now has over 4 million subscribers! Add in the fact that they have over 300 million views of their videos, so we had to include them

2 – Zoella – This channel was started by Zoe Sugg, but she is better known to her subscribers as Zoella. Her YouTube channel consists of Zoella giving fashion, beauty and lifestyle tips and she has over 7 million subscribers. Her popularity has worked itself out, as she signed a two-book deal with Penguin Books for “Girl Online,” which seems to be based on her life and a young vlogger that has gone viral!

3 – Shane Dawson – How could we not include Shane Dawson in this list? His YouTube channel consists of comedy videos and different characters he has created. He is also very well known for his parody videos of popular hit songs, including Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor. He has also released five songs of his own and signed a TV deal to produce a show and created his own movie, “Not Cool.”

4 – Michelle Phan – She has turned herself into a YouTube beauty expert and her channel has over 7 million subscribers. As if that is not impressive enough, Michelle has also gone on to become Lancome’s official makeup artist. Add even more to that, as Michelle co-founded ipsy in 2011, which is a monthly subscription for makeup. All of this from starting a YouTube channel, huh?

5 – PewDiePie – This channel was created by Felix Kjellberg and is one of the fastest-growing YouTube channels out there right now. He has over 33 million subscribers and he comments on video games. How is that even possible? Each of his videos seem to get at least 3 million views, which is insane.

6 – Bethany Mota – If you don’t recognize that name, then you must not be a fan of reality television and Dancing with the Stars. She started posting videos in 2009 and currently has over 8 million subscribers to her YouTube channel. Since then, she has created a fashion line with Aeropostale and gone on multiple tours. She made a good run with Derek Hough on DWTS also, but was not victorious.

7 – Jenna Marbles – I had to end the list with Jenna Marbles, who has been making us laugh with many of her videos. She has the top channel operated by a female and the seventh-highest overall channel with over 14 million subscribers! To top all of that, she has an annual income of $4.3 million and her videos have been viewed over 1.5 billion times. Yes, I said billion and not million!
